    BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Sport

Sky Blues caretaker manager Mark Venus says the club's position at the bottom of the table is a "difficult but exciting" challenge.

The first-team squad is finalising preparations for tomorrow's League One fixture at Port Vale after the departure of manager Tony Mowbray yesterday.

The club's in a "transition" at the moment, Venus said, and "we're obviously in the position where we need to start picking up points".

  11. On Midlands Today: Room shortage at University of Warwick

    Joan Cummins

    Midlands Today reporter

Dozens of students at the University of Warwick are being forced to share single bedrooms or stay in hotels due to a shortage of accommodation.

Around 120 new undergraduates, who arrived at the university this week, were told they'd be living with strangers as there simply wasn't enough room.

The university says the provision is being given a discounted rate, and single rooms will be found for everyone eventually.

  15. 'Cash flow difficulties' led to Covpress administration

The administrators for Coventry car parts manufacturer Covpress said they were appointed on 29 September because of "cash flow difficulties".

Joint administrators Eddie Williams, Richard Lewis and David Dunckley of business and finance adviser Grant Thornton said: “Despite significant investment in the operations the business experienced cash flow difficulties for a number of months which led to requests for further funding and support from shareholders.

"This cash position worsened during September and despite additional support from the customers, the business did not have sufficient funding available which would allow the business to continue to trade.”
