  3. Steven Pressley: James Maddison 'owes ex-Coventry City boss a lot'

    Coventry City midfielder James Maddison is keenly awaiting Steven Pressley's return to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday as he "owes his old boss a lot".

    Pressley, now manager of Saturday's opponents Fleetwood, gave Maddison, 19, his Sky Blues debut in 2014.

    His subsequent development earned a seven-figure fee in January when they sold the Academy product to Norwich, since when he has been loaned back.

  5. Tony Mowbray prepares for some 'tough' games

    Tony Mowbray’s side have had the benefit of a week off after the Scunthorpe United fixture was rearranged due to their progression in the FA Cup. 

    The City squad have used the time to prepare for what is likely to be a season-defining period over the coming weeks, with the team face five league games within the next 15 days.

  7. Travel: One lane blocked on M6

    A broken down vehicle is blocking one lane of the M6 southbound between J5, at the A452 (Castle Bromwich) and J4a, for the M42.

  8. Steven Pressley: 'You may not have had a Coventry City'

  10. Coventry half marathon travel and access information

    There will be road closures in place throughout Coventry as thousands of runners and spectators head to the city for the annual half marathon. 

    Organisers say road closures will start operating from 06:00 in most areas and roads will reopen once runners have passed by and it is safe to do so.

  11. HS2 'changing Britain for the better'

    The chairman of the high-speed rail line that will run from London to Birmingham through Warwickshire claims the line is "is already beginning to change Britain for the better". 

    David Higgins made the comments despite it being 10 years before the first trains are due to run on the line and a year before construction starts.

  12. Travel: M6 accident

    An accident has blocked one lane and slow traffic on the M6 southbound at J1, A426 (Rugby).

  13. Driver forced off the road in Burton Green incident

    A car was forced off the road in Burton Green by a motorist who then tried to pull the driver from the vehicle, police say.

    The victim, a woman in her 20s, was able to drive away from the scene in Cromwell Lane.

    They're appealing for an elderly couple to get in touch, who they believe witnessed the incident.

  14. Police target nuisance bikers

    A crackdown on nuisance off-road motorbike riders in Nuneaton and Bedworth has resulted in one bike being seized and several people reported for anti-social behaviour.  

    Police targeted known hotspots over a two-week period during the half term holidays.  

    Nine riders were warned they face having their bikes seized and crushed if they're seen riding in the area again. 

  15. Matt Mullan fit to captain Wasps against Harlequins
