  3. Calls for further flood protection

    There's a call for action to be taken over a culvert that overflowed in Coventry at the weekend causing a caravan dealership to be flooded.

    Local residents say something needs to be done to make sure it doesn't fail again in the future.

    Coventry City Council says it maintains the culvert but the Environment Agency maintains the screen which protects it, and they're examining video footage to see which failed.

  4. Flood alerts still in place

    Rain is due to get lighter overnight, but there are still six flood alerts in place for Coventry and Warwickshire, and high water levels on some of the area's roads.

  5. Lines re-open after overhear wire problems

    The item obstructing overhead lines between Stechford and Adderley Park has been removed and all lines are open.

    London Midland say disruption could be ongoing due to displaced trains and crew.

  6. Caravan dealership flooded

    Staff at a caravan dealership in Coventry were called out in the middle of the night to deal with flooding. 

    Part of the River Sherborne, which runs under the city, flooded Broad Lane Leisure, in Tile Hill. 

    The site was inundated with over a foot of water.

  7. Prime Minister meets Warwickshire prisoners

    David Cameron spoke to prisoners at Onley prison in Warwickshire this morning as he launched an overhaul of prisons in England and Wales.

    He met two inmates training in bicycle repair and servicing skills before enjoying a "delicious" espresso, brewed by trainee barista Richard who is currently doing time at the category C men's jail.

  11. Police investigate pupils over 'sexting'

    Warwickshire Police said it investigated 33 people aged between 10 and 17 in 2015 over explicit messages, some containing naked images.

    Officers say people need to be aware of the dangers of being prosecuted for sharing indecent messages.

    The warnings come ahead of Safer Internet Day, on 9 February which urges young people to avoid sharing material online that could be used against them.

    Det Ch Insp Sean Paley, from Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police specialist operations unit, said parents and teachers also needed to be aware of the risks.

  13. Warwickshire hospital recruits patients for trial treatment
