Almost 900 homes and businesses in the West Midlands are thought to be without electricity now after engineers worked through the night to restore power to many of those affected by Storm Eleanor.
High winds brought down dozens of trees.
Western Power Distribution said it hoped to restore supplies to many of the remaining homes by 11:00
At its height, 2,000 properties in the region were affected overnight.

About 800 properties in the West Midlands continue to be without power following outages.
Western Power says its engineers are working hard to restore power to those affected by mid-afternoon. Marston Green in Birmingham remains the worst affected with about 200 homes and businesses without power.
A spokesman says anyone who has been affected should call 105 and report the issue.

Storm Eleanor: Roof felt blown off flats
Roof felt has been blown off a property in the Shard End area of Birmingham this morning, with debris landing in a car park below.
Emergency services were called to Heathway at 0:30 and West Midlands Police said the area had been cordoned off, but that no-one was hurt.
Strong winds weather warning extended

The Met Office yellow weather warning for the West Midlands for strong winds has been extended to 19:00 today.
It says the winds aren't expected to be as strong as overnight but could still cause transport delays and power cuts.

More than 1,900 homes and businesses are without power across the West Midlands, according to Western Power Distribution
The company says the worst affected areas include Solihull and Marton Green, with almost 900 without electricity.
A further 400 properties in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire are also without power.
Herefordshire, Worcestershire and some parts of Warwickshire are also affected. To check your local area try Western Power's interactive map.

More trees have come down in the West Midlands in the strong winds from Storm Eleanor this morning.
West Midlands Fire Service reported one down in Hay Mills while Staffordshire Police said there was one down near Cheddleton on the A520.
West Midlands Railway warned of some disruption to Cross City services due to a tree on the line near Lichfield that had to be moved.

A yellow weather warning for strong winds today's going to stay in force until 18:00 at least today.
The Met Office says it covers the whole of the West Midlands and could see public transport disrupted or cancelled at times.
It also says people should be prepared for power cuts and other disruption with people being warned that there could be flying debris.
Trees down and marquee blown away by Storm Eleanor

Trees and power lines have been brought down in parts of the West Midlands as Storm Eleanor has swept across the UK.
West Midlands Fire Service says a 60ft marquee took flight in Solihull last night while Worcestershire County Council says a bus shelter was blown on to the B4196 Astley Cross near Stourport.
West Mercia Police says there have been several trees brought down in Shropshire and Worcestershire.
In one case in Worcestershire, the force said a tree had come down and hurt a member of the public, although they haven't revealed their injuries.
