  11. Whites vs Blacks: How football changed a nation

    A documentary about a ground-breaking football match 37 years ago will be screened this weekend as part of the BBC Black and British season.

    Whites vs Blacks is about the day an all-white team took on a side comprised solely of black players in 1979.

    It was a testimonial game for West Bromwich Albion's Len Cantello. Some of those who played in the match came together for a recent preview screening.

  13. 'Illegal immigration' arrests: Four of ten found in lorry say they are minors

    Ten people found by police in the back of a lorry after reports of arms hanging out the back say they are from Iraq, Iran, Vietnam and Lebanon, the Home Office says.

    Six of the group are to be interviewed by immigration officials while the other four, who say they are minors, will be passed into the care of social services to be age-assessed.

    All are male and have been arrested over suspected immigration offences. They were found inside a refrigerated lorry in Wednesbury near the M6 on Thursday.

    Two Spanish men, aged 50 and 60, have been arrested on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration.
