Leeds dog walker attacked by men on scooter
A dog walker was left with serious injuries after he was driven at and attacked by two men on a scooter in Leeds.
The man was on a pathway in Swarcliffe, known as the "spotty path", at about 18:00 on Friday when the incident happened.
The victim tried to flee but was pursued through streets and gardens before the men caught up with him and attacked him on Naburn Approach.
The attackers, both thought to be in their late teens, then rode off on the scooter.
The victim was left with serious injuries which required hospital treatment.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

Public help needed to track wanted man
South Yorkshire Police officers want to hear from anybody who knows the whereabouts of Jahmaine Watson.

The 27-year-old is wanted in connection with an investigation into the supply of drugs following an incident last Wednesday.
He is thought to have links to Denaby, Mexborough and Rotherham, however police believe he remains in the Doncaster area.
Members of the public are being warned to not approach him directly and instead to report any sightings to the police immediately via 101.

Mytholmroyd flood plan could see bridge moved
A bridge over the River Calder may be moved to try to prevent flooding in Mytholmroyd in West Yorkshire.

Calderdale Council is considering relocating Caldene Bridge and rebuilding it 25m upstream.
This would allow for the river to be made wider, allowing more water to flow through.
The proposals are due to be discussed at a cabinet meeting at Halifax Town Hall this evening.
If approved, the council could bid for EU funding to help pay for the work.
Cannabis plants seized in South Yorkshire
At least 20 cannabis plants have been seized in just one week in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire, as part of a dedicated operation across that part of the Dearne Valley.

Warrants were executed at four addresses and one man was cautioned for drugs offences.
A total of 10 cannabis plants were seized from King Street allotments and a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and subsequently cautioned.
A further six plants were seized from a house in Elizabeth Street, while searches of a second house on the same street saw officers discover 12 cannabis plants.
The fourth warrant, executed at a house in King Street, saw a quantity of cannabis cultivation equipment seized.

Man, 80, hurt in Pateley Bridge hit-and-run
Did you see an 80-year-old man being hit by a passing motorist in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, on Saturday? If so police would like to hear from you.

The man was hit and knocked to the ground at about 11:30 on Saturday morning as he walked up the High Street near the Pharmacy
The driver of the car, which was travelling up the High Street, did not stop.
The injured man was treated by ambulance staff at the scene and transferred to Harrogate Hospital for treatment.
Police say they're appealing directly to the car driver to come forward. Meanwhile, anyone else who witnessed the collision is also being urged to contact police.
