Your pictures: Restricted
Each week, we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it is "restricted".
Adrien Magloire: "In Oxapampa, a small village in Peru, a farmer holds an eight-month-old [ocelot]. His mother became used to feeding on the farmer's cattle. He finally hunted her down only to find this cub."
Doris Enders: "I wonder if there was some confusion around these clever grackles. Maybe they read the sign and could not decide if they were allowed to go on the Pelican Pier in Texas, USA?"
Sandra Hares: "The beautiful Four Mile Beach at Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia. The swimming areas are restricted due to crocodiles and box jellyfish."
Deji Ayorinde: "Temperatures of around -19C meant that water was frozen whilst exiting a drainpipe in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. Nothing else would have been able to flow through the drainpipe, and even gravity was restricted from doing its job."
Kate Russell: "Restricted access: a notice on footpath at Bladbean, near Canterbury, in Kent."
Joydeep Grover: "A water supply shed. I don't think it has ever been unlocked since being commissioned in 2005 in our little estate in Wroughton, Wiltshire."
Susan Greisen: "While living and working near Maroua, in northern Cameroon, I couldn't help capturing this image. Rules are made to be broken, while market day flourished with vendors of all sorts. Taking refuge from the afternoon Sun was also in order. I resurrected this photo from my time there in the 1980s."
Tammy Cazaux: "A humpback whale in an advanced stage of decomposition washed up on the famous Ipanema Beach of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "
Malvika K. Hathiramani
Malvika K Hathiramani: "This image was taken at the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat in Las Vegas. I usually get very happy at the prospect of seeing different types of wildlife. However, my heart sinks when I see the animals restricted in their enclosures."
Nia Davies & Connie Piper
Nia Davies and Connie Piper: "In this photo you can't see all of the model's face because it is restricted using a pillar. It was taken after school, in photography club, a few days ago."
And finally an image by 14-year-old Bethany Chesh of her budgie Chirpy. The next theme is "cleaning", and the deadline for your entries is 28 November. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to email@example.com. Further details and terms can be found by following the link to "We set the theme, you take the pictures," at the bottom of the page.
