Your pictures: Balance
Each week, we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week, it is "Balance".
C Somanathan: "I took this photo at the Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, in the summer of 2011 on one of our annual family road trips visiting national parks. Waited patiently until other visitors at the site stepped out of the frame for a short window of opportunity to capture this balancing act of nature in all its splendour."
Steve Skinner: "This is a building block character tightrope-walking on the washing line."
Andy Greenall: "At this time of year I become hopelessly addicted to balancing rocks. It can make a short dog walk last hours but it's surprisingly easy and a great way to switch off for a bit."
Maite Diago: "Trying to keep my balance on top of a sand dune in the Gobi Desert near Dunhuang, China."
Richard Nicholls: "It is all in a day's work for these circus performers - but could you do it?"
Naw Eh Wah: "Fruit sellers from Vietnam balance their fruit baskets."
Gwenda Cavanagh: "When practising spinning this little wood top, I thought it would be a challenge to get a perfectly balanced spin on a reflective surface. Spinning it on my glass kitchen surface took quite a lot of tries, but I was happy with this one."
David Miller: "A busy bee balancing to get his pollen."
And finally a picture called Bali Balance by George Woolsey. The next theme is "lucky", and the deadline for your entries is 6 June. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org.
