The winners of this year's Faith Through A Lens photography competition are announced.
The Gathering, Simon Hathaway’s photograph of men preparing for worship at Lalibela, in Ethiopia, has won this year's Faith Through A Lens competition. The photographer was praised by the judges for capturing a unique moment and for his fantastic framing and use of natural light.
Sanjay Gupta's picture Running Late, taken during Semana Santa, holy week, in Seville, Spain, was highly commended by the judges, led by photojournalist Don McCullin.
Showing Buddhist believers hanging prayer flags at a mountain pass in Tibet, Richard Hainsworth's Prayers in the Wind was also highly commended.
