Big Picture: Leonardo da Vinci's Horse and Rider

Leonardo da Vinci's Horse and Rider

A replica of Leonardo da Vinci's sculpture Horse And Rider has been put on display in Beverly Hills, California. The reproduction bronze was created by the American Fine Arts Foundry using a mould of the original beeswax statue that was hand-carved by the artist more than 500 years ago. It is considered to be the only surviving example of Da Vinci’s sculpture work.
