US country music duo Sugarland will headline the first ever party held by the Academy of Country Music to celebrate its annual awards show.

The ACM Fan Jam concert, which will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, will run simultaneously with the awards show on 3 April.

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire have been lined up to host the awards show.

The main nominations are out on 1 February. Last year, Carrie Underwood was the big winner with five awards.

For the third year running, fans can vote online for who they want to win the best new solo vocalist and best new vocal duo or group.

Eric Church, Easton Corbin and Randy Houser have been shortlisted in the soloist category.

The duo or group list features The Band Perry, the JaneDear girls and Steel Magnolia.
