X Factor contestant Gamu Nhengu has recorded a Christmas single in aid of a Scottish charity.
Nhengu, who lives in Clackmannanshire, failed to make it to the live stages of the ITV1 talent show after judge Cheryl Cole did not choose her.
Aberlour, a Stirling-based children's charity, will release the single - Where Will You Sleep This Christmas, featuring the 18-year-old's vocals.
The track will be released on 13 December.
It has been written by Nhengu's former music teacher, David Clifford.
Aberlour has produced Christmas singles before but the charity is hoping that Nhengu's input will boost this year's effort.
"This song will hopefully appeal to a much larger audience this year and we are so grateful for the support of those who helped to make it happen," said Aberlour's director of marketing, Karen McMurrich.
Aberlour provides help to over 6000 of Scotland's most vulnerable children, young people and their families each year.
Nhengu's family come from Zimbabwe and are currently in a battle to stay in the UK after they were granted the right to appeal against a decision forcing them to leave the country.
Solicitor Peter Farrell said the case would be heard by the Immigration Court in Glasgow on 26 November.
