Actress Lisa Faulkner has been crowned winner of Celebrity MasterChef ahead of Christine Hamilton and television presenter Dick Strawbridge.
Faulkner, best known for her role in Holby City, was praised for her "natural touch and fantastic palate" by series judge John Torode.
The actress said: "MasterChef has changed my life - it's opened up a new world to me."
Her final winning three-course menu included a main dish of monkfish.
Faulkner's starter was a goat's cheese and red onion tartlet, while she prepared an almond pannacotta for dessert.
She said the competition had been "extremely tough" and had taken her out of her comfort zone.
"I now cook all the time, I cook every day. If I'm stressed I go cook, I try things I've never tried before and I absolutely love it... I've just become obsessed with it."
She and her fellow finalists were confronted with numerous culinary challenges, including cooking for diners on the Orient Express and preparing food to Michelin Star standard for a group of top chefs.
Judge Gregg Wallace said: "Lisa elevates humble food into something beautiful.
"She's a brilliant champion and possibly the best celebrity MasterChef winner we have ever had."
