Detroit Motor Show 2015: In pictures

The Detroit Motor Show is the first car show of the year and the first chance that manufacturers get to show off their latest models. The BBC's Kim Gittleson looks at some of the cars on display.

The Ford GT was one of the most talked-about cars - it marks Ford's return to Le Mans 50 years after its historic win.
But Ford wasn't alone: Acura also showed off its NSX supercar - which costs a cool $150,000 (£98,000) - marking its own racing debut 25 years ago.
Alfa Romeo unveiled its 4C Spider...
...but also nodded to its history - in this case its 1932 Gran Premio Tipo B.
Car makers have been buoyed by growing US sales. Yet while they've been keen to experiment with cars, there did seem to be a favourite colour on the floor.
And of course, this being the US, it wasn't just about sleek racers. Nissan unveiled its flashy Titan XD pick-up truck - its effort to win market share away from the Detroit big three.
