Trendy offices: Your workplaces, your pictures

The "best and most innovative" offices in the UK were celebrated at an awards ceremony a week ago.

We published a gallery of the winners in the British Council for Offices awards, then invited you to send us pictures of your trendy workplaces.

Image caption Alan Gillard, of architecture firm Gillard Associates, sent this picture of his floating office, called the Quaypad. The firm, based at Cardiff Marina, specialises in sustainable design. Mr Gillard says they have watched a family of swans grow up nearby and employees "get all our best ideas working on water".

Image caption Digital marketing agency Sleeping Giant Media is based at this office in Folkestone, Kent. Alice Pope, who sent in this picture of their ball pit meeting room, says the office promotes creativity. "I love it because I can have fun in the office but still get my work done," she says.

Employee Lisa Imlach, who sent this picture, says "doodle walls" in the stairwells allow staff to "jot down inspiration, travel tips, thoughts and advice".
