Nine Phones 4U shops in Northern Ireland stores are closing with the loss of 37 jobs.

The retail chain was placed into administration last week after losing contracts with mobile phone networks.

The company had employed 96 people at its 17 Northern Ireland outlets, which include four concessions within Dixons Carphone stores.

Dixons Carphone has taken over the four concessions. The others have been bought by Vodafone.

The shops closing are: Donegal Place, Belfast; Foyleside Shopping Centre, Londonderry; Castle Lane, Belfast; Bow Street Mall, Lisburn; Buttercrane Shopping Centre, Newry; Ards Shopping Centre, Newtownards, Rushmere Shopping Centre, Craigavon and Church Street, Coleraine.
