Asia 'will lead the world economy in a decade'


Within a matter of years Asia will be the world's leading economic force, according to the Centre for Economics and Business Research.

As the US and other developed economies become less competitive, Asian countries, spurred on by China, will become more robust.

The think-tank's chief executive, Douglas McWilliams says the global shift, which many have been expecting, will happen sooner than had been predicted.
