China to continue cautious policy


China is set to report its latest purchasing manager's index data.

The index is a key indicator of the health of the manufacturing sector in the country.

During the last global economic slowdown, demand from China supported many export-dependent Asian economies.

The new data will be watched closely to see how fresh concerns of a slowdown in the US and Europe, two of China's biggest markets, have affected the country's manufacturers.

Duncan Innes-Ker from the Economist Intelligence Unit who said he expects China's growth to slow.
