Serbia: President made judo master 'to deal with Putin'
Serbia's president has apparently been made a "judo master" and told he will "find it easier to talk to Vladimir Putin".
Tomislav Nikolic was presented with a black belt by neighbouring Bosnia's Judo Alliance, reports Sarajevo-based news agency Onasa. The alliance's head reportedly told Nikolic it would help negotiations, given Putin would "no longer be the only leader with a black belt".
Nikolic reportedly joked back that he'd like "to catch up with Putin when it comes to mastering the dan ranks". The macho Russian president's love of the sport is well-documented. He released a martial arts DVD in 2008.
