Trump: G7 meeting 'tremendously productive'

Donald Trump has concluded his first foreign trip as US president, where he toured the Middle East, visited Pope Francis in Rome and met G7 and Nato leaders.

He described his final meeting, at the G7 summit, as "tremendously productive" and said he had "strengthened American bonds".

However, the G7 failed to agree a statement on climate change, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel describing the discussion as "very unsatisfactory".
