Trump slams 'so political' courts

US President Donald Trump has accused the courts of being "so political" during a speech to police chiefs in Washington on Wednesday.

He said the law his legal team is citing to justify the ban is so simple that "if you were a good student in high school or a bad student in high school, you can understand this".

A court is San Francisco is currently determining if Mr Trump's executive order, barring migrants from seven countries and suspending the refugee programme, is legal under the US Constitution.
