Orlando nightclub shooting: Mayor declares state of emergency

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer has declared a state of emergency in the city following a mass shooting at a gay nightclub.

The gunman, named by officials as Omar Mateen, was killed after taking hostages.

Addressing the media, he said that the authorities were now trying to identify the victims.
