Why Americans should care about Brexit

During his visit to London President Barack Obama set out why he believes the UK is better off staying in the European Union.

But the debate over Britain's possible exit from the EU - referred to as Brexit - has not become a hot topic of conversation in the US.

Mr Obama's former economic adviser, Austan Goolsbee, told the BBC's Katty Kay why Americans should care about how the British people vote in the coming referendum on 23 June.
