US election 2016: Is Donald Trump Ronald Reagan's Republican heir?

What do White House hopeful Donald Trump and former US President Ronald Reagan have in common?

They are both Republicans, both stars of television who turned to politics, and they both talk tough on foreign policy.

But some supporters of Reagan would point to key differences. On immigration they are worlds apart, with Mr Trump in favour of a stronger southern border and mass deportations, while Reagan was more open to it.

BBC Rewind compares the two Republican outsider candidates from different eras.
