State of emergency over LA gas leak

A state of emergency has been declared in California in response to a methane gas leak that began more than two months ago.

More than 2,000 people have been moved from their homes in a suburb of Los Angeles.

The leakage stems from a vast underground storage field in Porter Ranch, on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

Richard Lister reports.
