Plane crashes into Chicago house killing pilot

A small single-engine plane has crashed into a house in Chicago's southwest side, killing the pilot, who was the only person on board.

An elderly couple who lived in the house escaped uninjured

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the pilot had reported engine problems just after takeoff and tried to return to Midway Airport in Chicago.
