US admiral on IS strikes: Refineries 'helped IS fund itself'

US Rear Admiral John Kirby has said air strikes on IS controlled oil refineries in Syria will have impacted the Islamic State's ability to fund itself.

Speaking on BBC World's GMT, he said it was not clear if militants or civilians had been killed in the bombings.
