Washington Monument reopens after three year repair

The 130-year-old Washington Monument in the US capital is reopening to the public for tours on Monday, 12 May.

It has been closed for nearly three years so repair work could be carried out on damage caused by an earthquake in August 2011.

Tom Bayly reports.
