Description: Nine US skydivers and two pilots have escaped from a mid-air collision 12,000 ft (3.600m) over the state of Wisconsin. One plane turned into a 'fireball' while the other was safely landed by the pilot.

Two planes carrying nine skydivers and two pilots have crashed in mid-air above the US state of Wisconsin.

One pilot had minor injuries, but everybody else escaped unhurt.

One of the aircraft turned into a "fireball" and fell from the sky in pieces.
