Bears caught on camera scratching against 'rub tree'

Officials in Alberta, Canada have managed to capture wild bears on film using a "rub tree" in Kananaskis Country, a park visited by millions each year.

Wildlife experts say scratching themselves against the tree enables the bears to communicate with other animals using their scent.

Park officials say the cameras are part of a study looking at how different animals use the habitat in the mountainous region.
