Obama 'will call' if he wants to know what EU leaders thinking

President Obama has said that he will provide all the information that his European allies are asking for after claims that US spying operations targeted EU offices.

Speaking in Tanzania, Mr Obama said that all nations that had intelligence services tried to understand what other nations were thinking, but that if he wanted to know what a European leader was thinking, he would call that person himself.
