US shopkeeper scoops $338m Powerball lottery prize

A US shopkeeper is celebrating after scooping $338m (£228m) in the Powerball lottery - the fourth largest prize in the game's history.

Pedro Quezada, 44, emigrated to the US from the Dominican Republic 26 years ago. The father of five owns a grocery shop in Passaic, New Jersey, where he works 18-hour shifts.

He told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday that he felt "pure joy" because he would be able to help his family.
