President Obama on Sandy: 'This storm is not yet over'

President Obama has stressed that storm Sandy is "not yet over" and emphasised that "there are still risks of flooding, downed power-lines and high winds".

Speaking at a Red Cross headquarters in Washington DC, the president offered his thoughts and prayers to those affected and told them "America is with you."

At least 32 people have been killed, millions are without power and transport across the north-eastern US has been severely disrupted as storm Sandy heads north for Canada.
