US earthquake felt in NYC and Washington

A magnitude-5.8 earthquake has struck the east coast of the United States.

The quake was felt in Washington, where the Pentagon and US Capitol Building were evacuated, as well as in New York.

There were no immediate reports of any major damage or injuries.

The quake was caught on static cameras in Washington and by crews filming a news conference in New York City, where residents gave their reaction .
