Opium production is rising in Afghanistan

According to a United Nations report, opium production in Afghanistan has risen by 61% this year compared with 2010.

One driver for this increase is rising opium prices in world markets.

Afghanistan produces 90% of the world's opium, the main ingredient of heroin.

From Kabul, the BBC's Bilal Sarwary reports.
