Emotional Karzai laments Afghan woe

The president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, has made an emotional appeal for peace in his country.

He fought back tears during a speech in Kabul as he spoke about the worsening bloodshed and the failure of NATO-led forces to end the violence.

It comes on the same day the deputy governor of Ghazni province was killed in a suicide attack.
