Curfew continues in Srinagar as Indian politicians meet

An all-party delegation of Indian politicians has arrived in Srinagar under the tightest of security, on the eighth consecutive day of a curfew imposed by the authorities.

The group of almost 40 MPs aims to halt violent protests that have claimed more than 100 lives in Kashmir since June.

Chris Morris reports on the security situation in Srinagar.

He spoke to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, head of the moderate wing of the of the separatist alliance Hurriyat Conference.
