Iraq Mosul battle: Troops advance against IS

Iraqi forces have reported progress in their battle against so-called Islamic State (IS) in western Mosul.

IS militants now control just two districts along the banks of the Tigris River, according to Reuters news agency.

About 800,000 civilians have fled the fighting.
