The desperate families fleeing eastern Aleppo

Tens of thousands of people are fleeing war-ravaged eastern Aleppo for the outskirts of the city. Some have been maimed by in the shelling, others have lost loved ones.

But even in the government-held area of western Aleppo, conditions at their temporary refuge are harsh.
