Syria conflict: Russia denies delaying peace talks

Russia has rejected claims that it is dragging out the Syrian peace process to allow President Assad to gain an advantage on the ground.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the BBC's Sarah Rainsford that Russia had supported the cessation of hostilities agreed at the Munich talks, and backed the use of the term "ceasefire".
