Getting into Islamic State over the Syria-Turkey border

Travelling into the areas of Syria controlled by Islamic State, as a family from Bradford may have done, is not as difficult as getting back out.

The crossing from Turkey into Syria, without papers, is not particularly hard or expensive to make.

However people in the areas of Syria and Iraq controlled by IS who decide they want to leave, face a dangerous journey, one that very few people have made.

Paul Wood reports from the border town of Kilis.
