Syria Crisis: Inside a Syrian radio station in Turkey

The conflict in Syria has had an impact on neighbouring counties as well.

The United Nations says there are more than a million Syrian refugees in Turkey and the country now hosts some Syrian political opposition groups like the Syrian National Council.

But it is also where some opposition-supporting media have set up base.

The BBC's Istanbul Correspondent Mark Lowen went to visit one Syrian radio station broadcasting from the city, battling with the Assad regime for control of the airwaves.
