Will local ground troops defeat Islamic State?

When Parliament authorised air strikes targeting Islamic State (IS) militants on Friday the motion was very clear in excluding British boots on the ground.

However US military commanders have said that ground troops will be needed if IS is to be defeated.

The BBC's Richard Galpin analyses where those troops may come from.
