Syria aid appeal: 'Everyone is asking for blankets'

The UN is launching its biggest ever appeal for aid to help the millions affected by almost three years of civil war in Syria.

Aid distribution centres in the country are doing their best to supply the queues with food, cooking supplies and medical kits.

But as a harsh winter closes in, Lyse Doucet reports from Damascus on the growing need for blankets and clothing as well as other basics.
