Syria conflict: 'Barrel bombs' dropped on Aleppo

Syrian government aircraft have dropped barrels laden with explosives on rebel areas of the northern city of Aleppo, opposition activists say.

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said 22 people were killed, 14 of them children.

There has been no comment from the Syrian government.

The BBC has not been able to independently verify this footage, but based on additional checks we believe it to be genuine.
