Syria talks resume in Geneva

Crucial talks resume in Geneva on Friday with US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov aiming to agree a plan to place Syria's chemical weapons under international control.

But after an initial meeting on Thursday evening, it is clear that significant disagreements still exist between the two governments on the best way to proceed.
