UN: No timeline for Syria findings

The UN has refused to give a timeframe for the results of an investigation by chemical weapons inspectors in Syria.

However, UN spokesman Martin Nesirky said the organisation's secretary general Ban Ki-moon had asked for the laboratory analysis of samples to be expedited.

UN inspectors returned to the Netherlands from Syria on Saturday after carrying out investigations into a chemical attack in Damascus.
