Cairo protest camp clearance: 'Children have been killed'

A supporter of the deposed president Mohammed Morsi has told the BBC that children have been killed during the clearance of two protest camps occupied by his supporters in Cairo.

Waleed al-Haddad said up to 50 people have been killed as Egyptian security forces moved in, although there is no immediate confirmation of that from official sources.
