Afghan elections: Voter cards issued to combat fraud

As Afghanistan gears up for presidential elections in Spring 2014, officials are trying to ensure there is no repeat of the electoral fraud which allegedly mired the 2009 elections.

A number of voting registration centres are now being opened across the country - Afghans will only be allowed to cast their votes at the same centre that originally issued them.
