Syrian refugees' situation is 'desperate', warns Oxfam

Aid agency Oxfam has warned that Jordan and Lebanon are in urgent need of help to support hundreds of thousands of refugees who have fled the fighting in Syria.

Oxfam said a combination of rising summer temperatures and poor sanitation posed increased health risks for the refugees.

Louis Belanger, from Oxfam International in Beirut, said the refugees need support to find shelter.
